Soliloquies is a series of oil paintings rejecting the tradition of the idealized female nude that persists in contemporary figurative painting today. Created from a single model, these works focus on the moments where the line between the sublime and the grotesque becomes blurry; using the details of form and an exaggerated color palette that accentuates the textures and transparency of skin.
